Stock Control Officer

About the role

The Stock Control Officer will manage the flow of pharmaceutical products at our wholesale facilities, ensuring accurate issuance, proper rotation, and compliance with expiry controls. This hands‑on position supports the supply chain by maintaining optimal stock levels across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Issue products according to invoices/delivery notes and apply First Expired, First Out (FEFO) principles.
• Cross‑check issued items against invoices before delivery.
• Monitor shelf stock to prevent product expiry and segregate expired items with proper labeling.
• Participate in weekly requisition of low‑stock items and prevent over‑stocking or stock‑outs.
• Track inventory levels and ensure sufficient supplies to meet customer demand.
• Liaise with the supervisor to keep computer‑based stock records up‑to‑date.
• Conduct random stock checks and audits to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist customers with product purchases and prepare regular stock reports.

Required profile

• HND in Purchasing & Supply, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar stock control or inventory role.
• Residence in Odorkor, Dzorwulu, Spintex or East Legon.
