Supply Chain Intern – West Africa

About the role

The Supply Chain Intern will support the West Africa Supply Chain Manager and assist the Warehouse team in ensuring product availability, quality, and safety. The role provides both administrative and technical support to internal teams and site clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support warehouse compliance with QHSE policies and report safety or quality concerns.
• Assist with product arrangement, identification, segregation, and stock integrity checks.
• Monitor product shelf life, raise extension requests, and relabel products as needed.
• Participate in stock counts, reconcile variances with DHL and site records.
• Help receive and dispatch stock, updating transactions in the ERP system under supervision.
• Identify and report warehouse issues such as leakages, repackaging, and chemical refilling requirements.
• Prepare and dispatch products to sites based on approved call‑off requirements.
• Collect fuel and transporter price data for management review and support cost‑efficiency tracking.
• Assist with local store management, PPE, safety items, equipment, and spare parts.
• Support procurement activities, product importation, clearing, and vendor invoice tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in a similar administrative or operations role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Residence in Accra.
