About the role
Beacon College International is seeking a dedicated Teaching Professional to deliver high‑quality instruction across its two campuses in Tema. You will work within the Cambridge curriculum framework and support the school’s holistic educational philosophy, fostering academic, personal, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Assess student progress, maintain accurate electronic records, and provide timely feedback to learners and families.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and pastoral care programs.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour positively.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the wider school community.
Required profile
- Demonstrated expertise in classroom teaching, lesson planning, and student assessment.
- Strong classroom‑management skills and ability to engage diverse learners.
- Experience with early years, primary, or secondary education (experience across multiple age groups is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; recognized teaching certification preferred.
- Commitment to holistic education, student well‑being, and continuous professional development.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Tema and participate fully in school activities.
