Team Lead – Retail Investment Products

About the role

The Team Lead, Retail Products will drive the development and management of IFML's retail investment portfolio. This senior position reports directly to the Head of Business Development and works closely with sales, marketing and compliance teams to achieve growth and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of retail investment products, including sales, marketing, operations, technology and regulatory compliance.
• Design and execute deposit strategies to meet growth and cost‑of‑funds objectives.
• Assess customers' investment needs and provide advisory services.
• Monitor capital‑market trends and adjust retail investment strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
• Identify opportunities to enhance, modify or expand the product portfolio.
• Produce weekly performance reports for senior management.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and generate new business opportunities.
• Maintain strong public relations with existing and prospective clients.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with digital investment, wealth management, compliance and other departments.

Required profile

• First‑degree in any discipline; a relevant master’s degree or professional qualification is a plus.
• 5‑10 years of retail banking or insurance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong financial acumen and proven track record in achieving sales and profit targets.
• Excellent understanding of retail investment products and capital‑market dynamics.
