Technical Operator

About the role

The Technical Operator will activate, monitor and maintain assigned production machinery daily, ensuring smooth operations and top‑quality output. The role involves reviewing downtime reports, supporting plant conversions, and collaborating with R&D and Quality Assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Switch on main power of assigned machinery each day and continuously monitor operation.
• Apply lubrication, review previous shift downtime reports and address any issues.
• Assist in plant conversions, installations and ensure product samples are certified before production.
• Prepare and submit production and maintenance reports to managers.
• Perform thorough weekly maintenance of assigned machines.

Required profile

• Mechanical/Technical Engineering Technician Part III or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Certification in mechanical and electrical safety.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
