Ticketing and Reservations Officer

About the role

Jetaway Travel And Tour is hiring a Ticketing and Reservations Officer in Accra. The role covers flight reservations, ticket issuance and cancellations, as well as coordinating hotel and tour package bookings and answering customer enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking and cancellations.
• Search flight options, compare fares and prepare quotations for customers.
• Coordinate hotel, tour package and other travel-related reservations.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate travel information.
• Liaise with airlines and travel service providers to confirm bookings.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and follow up on pending bookings.

Required profile

• HND or bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• IATA diploma in Reservations & Ticketing Foundation or consultancy.
• Advanced General Distribution Systems (AMADEUS GDS) certification.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in ticketing and reservations.
