Ticketing Supervisor

About the role

Travel People Limited, operating as Travel People Ghana, is a travel services company founded by partners with over ten years of industry experience. It is looking for a full-time, on-site Ticketing Supervisor in Accra to oversee day-to-day ticketing operations and ensure efficient, accurate service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise ticketing staff and manage flight and travel reservations
• Monitor queues and booking systems, and resolve complex ticketing issues
• Coordinate with airlines and other service providers
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations
• Maintain high standards of customer service
• Track sales performance, prepare operational reports and support promotional activities
• Contribute to process improvements to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency

Required profile

• Prior experience in airline ticketing, travel agency operations or tourism is highly beneficial
• Leadership experience managing or supervising a team in a customer-facing environment is an advantage
• Relevant diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business or a related field is desirable

Required skills

• Reservations skills: hands-on experience with booking and ticketing systems (e.g. GDS platforms) and managing travel itineraries
• Sales skills: promoting travel products, upselling services and meeting revenue targets
• Event planning skills for group bookings and corporate travel arrangements where required
• Proficiency with standard office software and digital tools; familiarity with travel industry systems is preferred
