Video Editor - Digital Marketing Associate

About the role

A creative and proactive entry-level professional is sought to join the team as a Digital Marketing Associate with a strong focus on video creation and editing. The role covers producing video content from shoot to final cut, driving content strategy and supporting marketing efforts across several channels.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality video for social media, marketing campaigns and internal projects
• Edit videos professionally, including cutting, colour grading, sound design, captions and motion graphics where needed
• Support the planning and execution of the content calendar and contribute ideas for campaigns and storytelling formats
• Support social media management, campaign execution and audience engagement
• Write captions, scripts and short-form copy
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements, and stay up to date with video and social media trends
• Help with graphic design tasks such as thumbnails and social media graphics

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing, videography or content creation, through freelance work, an internship, a personal channel or a previous role
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including social media marketing, content strategy and audience engagement
• Understanding of what drives growth on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Proactive, self-driven and good communicator

Required skills

• Exceptional video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
• Solid videography skills: framing, lighting and shooting for social media formats
• Nice to have: content writing, graphic design with Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator, motion graphics, and a portfolio or social media page showing video work
