Warehouse Shipping Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Shipping Manager will lead the finished‑goods shipping function for TWYFORD INTERNATIONAL in Takoradi, coordinating closely with planning, transportation, sales, finance, safety, inventory and documentation teams. The role ensures efficient loading, on‑time deliveries, and high customer satisfaction across multiple vehicle types.

Key responsibilities

• Own the finished‑goods warehouse shipment module, liaising with planning, transport, sales, finance, safety, inventory and document systems.
• Manage the daily delivery team, develop and update L5 delivery processes, train, guide, inspect and assess staff performance.
• Analyse customer complaints (errors, shortages, damages, chaos), devise corrective plans and drive continuous improvement of satisfaction.
• Record and assess bulk vehicle loading/unloading workloads, calculate and verify piece‑rate wages per company policy.
• Coordinate daily loading tasks, allocate shipping resources for bulk trucks, ocean containers, flat‑bed, fence and box trucks.
• Implement closed‑loop processes for on‑site safety, 6S, shipping standards, loading efficiency, documentation and PDA scanning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse management within large factories or companies, familiar with logistics, planning, production, inventory and shipping processes.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, including day and night rotations.
• Experience managing delivery teams of at least 30 members, motivating grassroots employees.
• Strong adherence to company procedures, capable of developing work plans and prioritising tasks.
• Knowledge of managing multiple warehouses and parallel shipments with clear loading logic for various truck types.
• Experience handling roughly 100 daily shipments and optimising bulk‑truck cargo layout.
