Warehouse Technician II

About the role

The Warehouse Technician II supports Newmont’s Ahafo Mine operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. The role ensures that all warehouse activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in line with Newmont’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, unpack, store, and issue materials and supplies.
• Perform routine warehouse functions including inventory management, movement, and distribution.
• Maintain accurate receipts, records, and withdrawal documentation.
• Conduct stock counts and report low‑stock situations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and material‑control regulations.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Supervise the packing away of receipted goods and issue items according to procedures.

Required profile

• Adherence to safety, integrity, sustainability, inclusion, and responsibility standards.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and stock records.
• Capability to conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Commitment to keeping a tidy and safe work environment.
