Youth Engagement & Learning Associate

About the role

The Youth Engagement & Learning Associate will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of youth empowerment programmes, focusing on learning and development across Accra and the Tema region. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure training initiatives meet the needs of diverse learner segments, including northern and blue‑collar groups.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions, instructional design and LMS management for all learner segments.
• Establish monitoring and evaluation systems to measure training effectiveness and report to partners.
• Engage public and private stakeholders to build partnerships and secure funding for youth programmes.
• Facilitate soft‑skills, business‑related and employability training, and support pre‑employment interventions such as CV clinics and candidate assessments.
• Identify job vacancies with partner companies, match candidates to roles, and meet monthly placement targets.
• Collect and analyse participant data in collaboration with M&E and other units.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good understanding of the agricultural sector to tailor training programmes effectively.
• Proactive problem‑solver with innovative ideas to meet youth engagement objectives.
