Director of Operations – Hotel

About the role

The Director of Operations-B will act as the strategic business leader for a hotel property, overseeing all core operational areas. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, this role ensures brand standards are met while driving revenue growth and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute property‑wide operational strategies aligned with the brand’s business objectives.
• Manage profitability by analyzing guest satisfaction drivers, service issues, and financial performance.
• Monitor revenue goals, occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses; coach department heads to meet budget targets.
• Lead Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering teams to deliver consistent service excellence.
• Review guest feedback and implement corrective actions to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain positive owner relations and ensure compliance with brand initiatives.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales & marketing, or management operations within the hospitality sector.
