Fitness Manager – Hotel Spa & Recreation

About the role

The Fitness Manager will take full responsibility for running a successful fitness centre within the hotel’s Spa & Recreation department. This role leads the fitness team to exceed guest expectations while maximising profitability in line with Kempinski’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and the fitness team, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.
• Deliver high‑level, personalised fitness services and conduct guest orientations and tours.
• Handle guest interactions, resolve disputes promptly and maintain confidentiality.
• Drive revenue, control costs, manage the budget and liaise with the hotel’s financial controller.
• Plan employee schedules, coordinate training, and create monthly goals and performance reports.
• Maintain health and safety policies, inventory levels and stock usage.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in an international‑standard health club, preferably as a Fitness Manager.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, P&L statements and key performance indicators.
• Strong leadership, communication and grooming standards.
