General Insurance Sales Officer (Accra & Tema)

About the role

The General Insurance Sales Officer will promote and sell non-life insurance products to individuals, SMEs and corporate clients in Accra and Tema. You will be responsible for building lasting client relationships while achieving monthly and annual sales targets. The role combines proactive prospecting, client education and after-sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, identify and acquire new customers for non-life insurance products.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
• Educate clients on insurance policies, benefits and coverage.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with underwriting standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support.
• Prepare and submit periodic sales and activity reports.
• Represent the company professionally in all sales engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Insurance, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong selling, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Goal-oriented, resilient and able to work under pressure to meet targets.
• Self-motivated, results-driven and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Integrity and professionalism with a customer-focused mindset.
