Health and Safety Supervisor

About the role

Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Supervisor to lead safety initiatives across its manufacturing plant. You will ensure a safe working environment, drive compliance with Ghanaian labour and safety regulations, and support continuous improvement of safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and audits.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, inductions and awareness programs for all staff.
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation and reporting systems.
• Support emergency response planning, drills and liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of safety management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana safety regulations and international standards.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
