HR Business Partner – Operations

About the role

GBfoods Africa is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support its factory operations in Ghana. Reporting to the HR Director, the HRBP will align people initiatives with production goals, fostering a safe, high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify and build organizational capabilities, structures, and processes.
• Support line managers in talent forecasting and pipeline planning.
• Design, deliver, and manage employee training programs.
• Review performance targets and assess talent implications.
• Facilitate long‑term strategic initiatives and development opportunities.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve HR services.
• Provide expert advice and coaching to employees and managers.
• Benchmark internal and external HR practices and drive best‑practice sharing.
• Act as liaison between line management and HR to ensure service alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong commitment, action‑orientation, problem‑solving ability and excellent relationship skills.
• Attention to detail and readiness to tackle the challenges of a growing multinational FMCG company.
