Industrial Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The role involves ensuring the reliable operation of plant equipment through repair, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform equipment repair and breakdown maintenance.
• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) programmes.
• Carry out installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Maintain industrial equipment across various systems.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all activities.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Background in manufacturing, mining, power plants, food processing or heavy industry is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment such as pumps, compressors, gear systems and bearings.
• Ability to dismantle, repair and re‑assemble mechanical components.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
