About the role
The Ghana AIDS Commission is seeking four Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officers to support the national HIV and AIDS response. The role involves tracking programme performance, analysing data, and contributing to evidence‑based planning across multiple regions.
Key responsibilities
- Apply approved M&E tools, reporting formats and indicators to monitor HIV intervention programmes.
- Assist stakeholders in monitoring and evaluating HIV/AIDS activities.
- Coordinate capacity‑building and training initiatives with regional and district HIV committees.
- Support quarterly coordination meetings at regional and district levels.
- Facilitate surveillance, operational research and surveys for both the general population and key risk groups.
- Collect, analyse and interpret data to inform programme planning and reporting.
- Prepare quarterly technical reports covering monitoring and evaluation activities.
Required profile
- First degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Health or Health Sciences.
- Completed one‑year post‑degree national service.
- Computer literacy with strong presentation and analytical abilities.
