Medical Doctor – Accra

About the role

Lapaz Community Hospital is seeking qualified Medical Doctors to join its clinical team in Accra. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, examinations, and investigations.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate in ward rounds, emergency care, and on‑call duties.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and interns.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection control, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Hold an MB ChB or equivalent medical qualification.
• Registered with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council.
• Minimum of five years post‑qualification experience as a Medical Doctor.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a busy hospital environment.
