Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist – Global Health Project

About the role

The Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist will lead data management, quality assurance and reporting for FHI 360’s EpiC project in three PEPFAR‑supported regions of Ghana. The role supports the Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service and partner CSOs to achieve the UNAIDS 95‑95‑95 targets through high‑quality HIV, TB, malaria and maternal‑child health data.

Key responsibilities

• Guide civil‑society organisations (CSOs) in updating results in the national DHIS2 platform and EpiC‑specific tools, and ensure timely entry into INFOLINK and DATIM.
• Conduct quarterly Data Quality Assessments at sub‑grant sites, develop and monitor Data Quality Improvement Plans.
• Provide M&E mentoring, coaching and supervision to sub‑grant staff and site‑level officers.
• Draft M&E sections for monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual and annual donor reports and create data‑driven PowerPoint presentations for leadership and partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor’s with 8 years).
• Demonstrated experience in M&E for large‑scale HIV/AIDS programs and familiarity with PEPFAR MER indicators.
• Proven ability to travel frequently across project regions and work independently under tight deadlines.
