Pastry Chef

About the role

We are looking for a creative and reliable Pastry Chef to join our hospitality team in Accra. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide range of pastries, desserts and baked goods while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts and other baked products following standardized recipes.
• Measure, portion and pre‑prepare ingredients to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor freshness and quality of ingredients and finished items, and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic work area and operate pastry equipment safely.
• Track ingredient usage, report stock shortages and minimise waste.
• Collaborate with kitchen and hospitality staff to ensure seamless service.
• Assist in developing new pastry items and improving existing recipes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar bakery role.
• Relevant culinary or pastry training is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and shift‑based schedules.
• Creative, passionate about baking and reliable in a team environment.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from GHS 2,200 to GHS 2,500 per month.
• Full‑time position with shift‑based hours (6:00 AM – 2:00 AM) from Monday to Sunday.
