About the role
This full‑time, on‑site position in Legon is responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of swimming pools managed by BOT Properties. The successful candidate will ensure water quality, perform routine maintenance, and address any pool‑related issues promptly.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain swimming pools, decks, and surrounding facilities daily.
- Monitor water quality, chemical balance, and filtration systems; conduct water testing and apply chemicals safely.
- Inspect and maintain pumps, filters, pipes, valves, and other pool equipment.
- Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and equipment repairs as needed.
- Keep poolside furniture, showers, changing rooms, and wash areas clean and functional.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, water testing, and chemical usage.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials.
- Enforce pool rules, ensure user safety, and respond to emergencies.
Required profile
- Minimum SHS Certificate, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in swimming‑pool or facility maintenance.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Good communication, problem‑solving abilities, and ability to work independently.
