About the role
Ghana Railway Development Authority is seeking to recruit Reach Stacker Operators to manage container handling operations at freight terminals and yards. The role involves overseeing the efficient movement of containers between trains and trucks, ensuring timely and safe operations at the freight terminals.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and stack containers from trains and trucks within designated yard areas.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, report faults and record container‑handling activities.
- Ensure safe lifting operations and compliance with established procedures.
Required profile
- Valid reach stacker operator certification.
- Minimum of three to five years experience in port, inland container depot (ICD) or rail yard operations.
- Good coordination and understanding of heavy lifting and safety procedures.
