Regional Coordinator – Youth (Accra, Kumasi, Tamale)

About the role

The Regional Coordinator – Youth will support the Project Manager in delivering a nationwide youth‑focused reproductive health project across Accra, Kumasi and Tamale. The role involves community mobilisation, training of health facilities and ensuring youth‑friendly service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Ghana Health Service, district authorities, community leaders and other project partners.
• Facilitate community entry and sustain engagement with local leaders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Community and Zonal Marketing agents to achieve project targets.
• Assist in action‑plan development, budget preparation and implementation to meet youth project goals.
• Conduct monitoring visits, produce quality reports and support continuous improvement of service delivery.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews, capture success stories and identify areas for improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in allied health sciences, public health, social sciences or development studies.
• At least 5 years of relevant post‑graduation experience, preferably in project management for large‑scale programmes.
• Demonstrated experience working with young people on behaviour‑change, marketing or peer‑education initiatives.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and experience producing high‑quality reports.
• Previous experience with international NGOs or UN agencies; must be pro‑choice.
