Shoe Technician (Cobbler)

About the role

The Shoe Technician (Cobbler) position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Ho. You will repair, restore, and customize a wide range of footwear to meet customer specifications while delivering high‑quality craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the condition of shoes and determine appropriate repair actions.
• Replace soles, heels, and other worn components.
• Perform stitching, cleaning, and polishing of footwear.
• Maintain and service repair tools and equipment.
• Provide recommendations to clients on shoe care and maintenance.
• Work with various materials such as leather, rubber, and textiles.
• Customize footwear according to customer requests.
• Ensure timely service and consistent quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in shoe repair, restoration, and maintenance techniques.
• Knowledge of shoemaking materials including leather, rubber, and textiles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality craftsmanship.
• Proficiency in handling and maintaining shoe‑repair tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Creativity and ability to innovate in footwear customization.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.
• Prior training or experience in cobbling is an advantage.
