Warehouse Manager

About the role

Joining Nestlé Ghana, the Warehouse Manager will lead large‑scale warehouse and distribution centre operations in Tema, ensuring efficient, safe and cost‑effective execution of all warehousing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large workforce of permanent, contract and third‑party staff across multiple shifts.
• Direct daily inbound, storage, stock management and outbound operations to meet customer order timelines.
• Champion compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and CARE standards.
• Oversee end‑to‑end inventory, dispatch and waste management processes.
• Monitor and achieve key operational KPIs, driving performance improvements.
• Optimize utilization of people, equipment, space and other resources through capacity planning.
• Enforce best practices such as FEFO, traceability and accurate stock control.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives and foster a problem‑solving mindset within the team.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of proven experience in warehouse and logistics management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing large, diverse operational teams.
• Excellent collaboration and cross‑functional partnership skills.
• Effective resource planning and negotiation capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build credibility and manage relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data‑driven decision making.
