About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The position involves teaching, research, supervision, community service and faculty development in one of the listed departments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the chosen department.
• Supervise student projects, theses and dissertations.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized journals.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.
• Engage in community service and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Current appointment as Associate Professor at a recognized university, or Senior Lecturer with at least four years of experience.
• Minimum ten publications in recognized scholarly journals.
• Three referees with contact details.
