About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for a Lecturer position within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The role is open to candidates who wish to join one of several departments, including Mobile and Pervasive Computing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or General Studies such as Sociology, Political Science, and African Studies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conduct research aligned with the university’s ICT focus and publish findings.
• Engage in community service and outreach activities.
• Contribute to faculty development and academic governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, ICT‑related fields).
• Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise students at university level.
• Three referees with contact details.
