Biomedical Scientist – Clinical Laboratory (Ghana)

About the role
Sanford World Clinics is expanding its presence in Ghana with two new community clinics in Nkwantanang and Mankessim. We are looking for a Biomedical Scientist to lead the laboratory services at these sites, ensuring high‑quality diagnostic testing from day one of operations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the Laboratory Department and oversee all functional aspects of the lab.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection for a variety of tests.
- Process samples, conduct routine laboratory analyses, and ensure accurate results.
- Maintain smooth laboratory operations and address any issues promptly.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by clinic management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent field.
- At least one year of post‑qualification internship or practical training in a clinical laboratory.
