About the role

The Director of Finance provides strategic financial leadership and serves as the chief financial advisor to the Vice-Chancellor, overseeing all financial operations to ensure integrity, stability and sustainability of the University's resources.

Key responsibilities

Strategic and financial leadership
Budget development and management
Financial reporting, control and compliance
Management accounting and performance evaluation
Treasury, payroll and stores management
Technology, systems and process enhancement
Stakeholder engagement and leadership

Required profile

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or ICA)
At least 10 years of senior finance management experience
High‑level analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Strong ethical standards and sound judgment
Proven leadership with a track record of impactful decision‑making

Required skills

Financial accounting and management systems
Modern accounting software packages
Resource allocation modeling and financial planning tools
