Electrical Technician – Locomotive Operations (4 positions)

About the role

The Ghana Railway Development Authority is looking for four skilled Electrical Technicians to join its locomotive operations team in Tema. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems that keep the railway’s locomotives running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and maintain or replace faulty electrical systems on locomotives.
• Assist with electrical testing, commissioning activities and prepare maintenance reports.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and established maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technician Part 3 Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ industrial experience in electrical maintenance or industrial operations.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings, safety procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
