Engine Field Service Technician – Level II

About the role

We are seeking an Engine Field Service Technician – Level II to join our Service Operations Department in Accra. You will provide on‑site engine repair, maintenance and diagnostics, ensuring minimal downtime for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve less complex engine issues on‑site, delivering timely repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule to improve equipment performance and lifespan.
• Document service reports, timesheets and warranty claims accurately and promptly.
• Identify additional service opportunities during visits and communicate them to customers or internal teams.
• Escalate complex or unresolved problems to senior technicians or supervisors.
• Maintain tools, service vehicles and adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental policies.

Required profile

• Apprentice‑trained engine technician or vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
• Locally valid driving permit.
• Basic field service experience with engine products.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Diagnostic software proficiency.
• Use of specialized tools for engine repair.
• Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and data analysis.
• Engine diagnostics and preventative maintenance techniques.
