Finance Associate

About the role

Paper Merchant is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Accra office. This full‑time position will support the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and insightful analysis to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with company standards.
• Conduct regular financial reporting and analysis of budgets, expenditures, and cash flow.
• Assess financial data for accuracy and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address financial queries and support decision‑making.
• Manage payroll, liabilities, and other cash‑flow related tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar finance role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data evaluation and insight generation.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing financial statements and conducting financial reporting.
• Knowledge of financial software and tools.
