Finance Manager – Real Estate Development (Accra)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial function of a fast‑growing real‑estate developer in Accra. This full‑time, on‑site position will ensure robust financial control, accurate reporting, and strategic support for business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and procedures.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash‑flow, aligning financial planning with operational execution.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee accounting and finance teams, ensuring high performance and compliance with international standards, local regulations, and internal controls.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and prepare financial statements, tax filings, and audit documentation.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, treasury, and reporting functions.
• Support long‑term business planning and financial strategy development.
• Oversee implementation and effective use of financial systems and tools.

Required profile

• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
• Proven integrity, accountability, and ethical financial management.
• Real‑estate or construction finance background.
• Minimum 15 + years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Deep knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience managing full financial operations and reporting cycles.
• Ability to pass a background check.
