Financial Reporting Specialist

About the role

The Financial Reporting Specialist will prepare, analyse, and deliver accurate financial reports that support compliance, transparency, and informed decision‑making across the organisation. This position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and close collaboration with multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Assist in consolidating financial data across subsidiaries and business units.
• Support the creation of management reports, variance analyses and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal reporting policies.
• Collaborate with auditors during external and internal audit processes.
• Maintain documentation and reporting procedures to strengthen internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements in reporting workflows.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills.
