Industrial Electrician – Maintenance & Troubleshooting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum production uptime and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections on production machinery, transformers, generators, and switchgear.
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging cameras to identify potential failure points.
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical malfunctions in automated manufacturing systems.
• Replace or repair faulty wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, relays, and other electrical hardware.
• Layout, assemble, install, and test electrical fixtures, control apparatus, and wiring according to blueprints and schematics.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and connect power supplies to new production machinery or facility expansions.
• Adhere strictly to Lockout/Tagout procedures, NEC or relevant local regulations, and factory safety protocols.
• Maintain clear, accurate logs of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical school graduate.
• Valid industrial electrician license or certification.
• 3–5 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy‑processing environment.
• Ability to work safely in high‑noise, hot, dusty, and rotating‑machinery conditions.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging cameras.
• Performing preventative maintenance on machinery, transformers, generators, and switchgear.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in automated systems.
• Installing, wiring, and testing electrical fixtures and control apparatus.
• Running conduit, pulling wire, and connecting power supplies.
• Applying Lockout/Tagout procedures and complying with NEC or local electrical codes.
• Maintaining detailed maintenance and repair logs.
