Mechanic – Vehicle & Heavy Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Mechanic to ensure the reliability and performance of its fleet of vehicles and harvesting equipment. You will work on-site in Berekum and Akumadan, providing essential maintenance and repair services to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on company vehicles, tractors, loaders, and harvesting machines.
• Diagnose mechanical faults in engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, suspensions and electrical components.
• Conduct daily inspections of all equipment assigned to the harvesting team.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records and report major faults and parts requirements to the Fleet Management Officer.
• Ensure workshop safety, proper tool usage, and compliance with company safety standards.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or technical qualification in Auto Mechanics, Heavy Duty Mechanics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience maintaining vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Experience with harvesting machines, tractors and loaders is an advantage.
• Valid national ID card and health insurance card.
