Policy and Campaigns Manager

About the role
ActionAid Ghana is seeking an experienced, self‑motivated professional to lead its policy and campaigns work. Reporting to the Head of Programmes & Policy, the manager will shape the organisation’s advocacy strategy within Ghana’s political and social context.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of ActionAid Ghana’s policy and campaign strategy.
- Conceptualise, plan and draft policy briefings and reports for advocacy targets and internal colleagues.
- Initiate, develop and coordinate research projects to ensure advocacy is grounded in on‑the‑ground evidence.
Required profile
- Three‑year renewable contract on national terms, with travel inside and outside Ghana and occasional work beyond regular hours.
- Master’s degree in Public Policy Analysis (or related) with at least 5 years policy experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with 10 years experience.
What we offer
- Basic salary of GH₵ 2,328.82 (Band 5, Step 1).
