Unit Head – Regional Corporate (Client Coverage & Investment Banking)

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head the Regional Corporate unit, overseeing client coverage, corporate and investment banking activities across Ghana. The role drives profitable growth, manages key relationships and ensures delivery of high‑quality banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with decision‑makers at top client organisations in Ghana.
• Lead the team to grow the loan portfolio and deposit base while contributing at least 20% to the bank’s FX budget and earnings before tax.
• Guide product development and ensure digital service delivery across client segments.
• Provide strategic direction aligned with bank‑wide strategy and make decisions on credit facilities and project loans.
• Oversee credit administration, ensuring compliance with credit policies and timely reviews.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Global Transaction Banking, Legal, Commercial and Consumer Banking to optimise client profitability.
• Prepare and communicate budget allocations, track performance and ensure adherence to compliance, internal control and audit standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in relationship management, credit or remedial management within corporate banking.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong understanding of corporate and investment banking products and digital banking channels.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple business units.
• Customer‑focused, results‑driven and highly self‑motivated.
