Area Sales Manager – Takoradi & Western Region

About the role

Sulzer is seeking an experienced professional to act as the bridge between engineering and sales in the Takoradi and Western Region. The role involves providing technical expertise to customers, customizing solutions, and ensuring successful post‑sales implementation. You will work independently with limited supervision while collaborating closely with internal engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support during the sales process.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Customize solutions based on client requirements.
• Assist in proposal development and contract negotiations.
• Support post‑sales implementation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products and technologies.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in solution selling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to translate technical features into business benefits.
• Familiarity with CRM and technical documentation tools.
• Ability to manage projects independently with limited supervision.
