Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead on‑site execution of residential and commercial projects in Labone, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate all construction activities, manage site teams and act as the primary point of contact for contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive daily site execution across all projects, meeting approved timelines, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress against schedules, proactively resolving delays.
• Directly oversee Site Supervisors, enforcing accountability for timelines, output quality and overall site performance.
• Track material, labour and equipment usage to maintain cost variance within acceptable limits.
• Enforce design specifications and quality standards through regular inspections and timely correction of defects.
• Provide accurate daily and weekly reports on progress, risks, delays and cost performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and maintain a zero‑tolerance approach to non‑compliance.
• Oversee procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment and labour resources.
• Review project drawings, specifications and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress and safety performance.
• Identify project risks, troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and uphold construction quality standards to minimise rework and delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction or project management.
• Proven experience managing residential or commercial real‑estate projects.
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
