Credit Officer / Credit Controller

About the role

The Credit Officer (also known as Credit Controller) will manage the resort’s credit processes, ensuring that receivables are collected promptly, credit risk is kept low, and cash flow remains healthy. This position plays a key part in protecting the financial stability of Ahyiresu Farmhouse Resort while supporting guest satisfaction and strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all credit management activities, including setting credit limits and monitoring customer accounts.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables by following up with guests and corporate clients and coordinating with the finance team.
• Minimize credit risk by assessing creditworthiness, handling debt recovery, and maintaining healthy cash flow for the resort.
• Prepare regular credit reports and present findings to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in credit control, debt recovery or financial management, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Professional certification such as ICA Ghana or ACCA is considered an advantage.
