Deputy Director, ICT Department

About the role

The Mental Health Authority is seeking a Deputy Director for its ICT Department to lead the development and management of information systems that support mental health services across Ghana. This senior position reports to the Director and works closely with public and private mental health providers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate mental health data from public and private services, as well as regional and district coordinators.
• Design, implement, and maintain the Mental Health Information System to ensure reliable data flow.
• Attend Division meetings and provide regular data updates to the Director.
• Coordinate continuous ICT training for staff members.
• Establish and oversee ICT infrastructure that supports mental health initiatives.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as an ICT manager within the health sector.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health information systems.
