Electrician – Plant Maintenance (Weija)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our operations team at a plant in Weija, Greater Accra. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, systems and plant equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanics, technicians and supervisors to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules and spare‑parts usage.
• Assist in upgrading and modifying electrical systems to improve efficiency.
• Keep the workshop and plant area organised and safe.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience as an electrician.
• Diploma, certificate or vocational training in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits and plant machinery.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and electrical repair equipment effectively.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
