Farm Technical Manager

About the role

Crystal Lake Fish Limited is looking for a Farm Technical Manager to lead the technical operations of its fish farm in Accra. The role involves overseeing all aspects of farm production, ensuring optimal fish health and growth while maintaining high standards of bio‑security and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily technical activities on the fish farm.
• Monitor water quality, feed regimes and health protocols to maximise yield.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and bio‑security measures.
• Lead a team of technicians, providing training and performance feedback.
• Analyse production data and prepare reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in a senior technical role within aquaculture or related agricultural production.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive continuous improvement.
