Finance and Operations Officer

About the role

Allied Talent Partners is seeking a Finance and Operations Officer to lead the financial set‑up of an agriculture development programme in Ghana. The role will design and run finance processes, ensure robust fund controls and deliver accurate reporting to international stakeholders while working closely with partner banks, auditors and technology providers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and operate a comprehensive finance and reporting framework covering loan books, program funds, expenditures, risk and regulatory compliance.
• Develop standardized reporting templates and embed key processes into the programme’s technology platform.
• Manage the partner‑bank reporting cycle, including analysis, issue resolution, audit coordination and consolidation of lending activity.
• Prepare financial reports for international donors and senior stakeholders.
• Maintain the programme account and enforce effective controls over operating expenditures.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in financial management, reporting and analysis.
• Proven experience building or significantly improving finance and reporting processes.
• Experience coordinating reporting across banks, finance teams, auditors, technology providers and senior stakeholders.
• Background in managing programme finances, fund controls or multi‑stakeholder reporting; agriculture‑finance or rural‑development experience is a plus.
