Finance Manager – Expat Position

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial and accounting functions in Ghana. The role involves overseeing budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and compliance while supporting strategic decisions for our manufacturing and cabinetry business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial management systems for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Conduct variance analysis and oversee general ledger reconciliations.
• Lead the annual budgeting process across production, procurement, sales and logistics.
• Manage daily cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and banking relationships.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and file all required returns.
• Design and enforce internal controls and liaise with auditors and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 8‑10 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in manufacturing, cabinetry, furniture or construction.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is preferred.
• Expatriate living in Accra, Ghana is preferred.
