About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments. Working at the Accra Marriott Hotel, you will ensure guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linens, and a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry areas.
• Prepare and transport fresh linen and dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and professional appearance guidelines.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No prior related work experience necessary.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform overhead and low‑reach tasks.
• Physical capability to lift, bend, twist, pull, and stoop safely.
• Commitment to creating a safe workplace and upholding quality standards.

Required skills

• Operation of dishwashing machines.
• Operation of linen washers and dryers.
• Use of basic cleaning equipment and tools.
