About the role
The Hotel Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth front‑desk operations. This role combines guest service, administrative duties, and coordination with internal teams to deliver a high‑quality hospitality experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the registration process.
- Collect and accurately record all required guest information.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Maintain guest records, process payments, and prepare invoices with precision.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved promptly.
- Gather guest feedback, address concerns, and resolve issues quickly to enhance service quality.
Required profile
- A diploma or degree from a recognized university.
- Previous experience in customer service or front‑desk roles; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and night shifts.
