Import & Export Documentation Specialist

About the role

The Document Specialist is responsible for precise management of import‑related documentation and real‑time updating of tracking systems, ensuring goods entering Ghana are declared accurately and logistics data is available to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and manage import declarations within the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS) with full compliance.
• Perform regular updates to the Content Management System (CMS) to reflect shipment status.
• Maintain Google Sheets and internal trackers for real‑time logistics visibility.
• Provide administrative support and other documentation tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Required profile

• Degree holder, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Familiarity with import procedures and documentation; experience with ICUMS is a strong advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive).
• Proactive attitude with high attention to detail.
